She already has Daddy wrapped around her little fingers

This is the first time Daddy got to hold Ava in the surgery room.
And I must say - he looks mighty "hot" in those scrubs.

This is the moment I've been waiting for all my life

Grandmother Dorothy and Aunt Tiffany were at the hospital since 6 am awaiting her arrival. We think now maybe Dorothy will stop buying clothes for her dog and help stock Ava's wardrobe instead.

5 days in the hospital were pretty tough on Daddy's sleeping schedule. Here he is taking a cat nap with baby Ava.

Grandpa Fred-The Colonel a.k.a Freddie Bear came by later after the surgery to give Ava one of his infamous Bear Hugs.

Our friends Michael and Cathy Phillips came for a visit on our last day and escorted us out of the hospital. We were so ready to get back home and hopefully get some sleep in our own bed.
